About Liz Nierzwicki:

Liz Nierzwicki, a longtime practitioner and teacher of yoga and physical fitness. She's a mom, multi-business owner, yoga teacher, and ACSM-CPT. Liz specializes in weaving strength training exercises into her power yoga classes in order to build strength of body and mind. Her style of teaching will have you leaving her yoga classes feeling empowered, strong, and with a focused mind ready to tackle anything.

Liz Nierzwicki is the founder of Solace Yoga Studio and creator of figureFIT! an online personal training and life coaching program that helps people all over the world create the body and life they always dreamed. She holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from the The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University where she also studied nutrition science, psychology, and international marketing in Finland. While being a single mother, Liz spent over ten years in business-to-business sales, territory development, consulting, PR, and marketing, and because it is a passion of hers, through it all kept a very active workout regimen that included weight training, yoga, running, and dancing. After many years of dreaming and goal setting while working for others, Liz took the plunge and opened her own business and it hasn't stopped there, with figureFIT!, Liz feels this is just the tip of the iceburg for her.

Liz's yoga background includes training in hatha yoga and many specialty trainings such as: power yoga, ashtanga yoga, tantric yoga, yin yoga, and restorative yoga. Liz has been featured in publications such as Sassy Magazine, Life+Spaces Magazine, and Michiana Family Magazine. In addition, she is a consultant to several magazines and blogs on yoga, integrative personal training, and life coaching.

 

Who is this trip for?

Couples, Solo travelers, or friends are welcome. Open to all levels of fitness or yoga experience. While this trip is perfect for individuals we encourage you to grab a loved one, your girl or guy friends, and experience the BLISS this yoga retreat will offer. We encourage loved ones to attend, practice yoga, reconnect with each other or yourself, and soak in the magic of Maya Tulum. The yoga practice is not mandatory – nothing is, except that you have fun!

Morning Yoga, Moonlight Yoga & Fitness Classes

Daily yoga will open your body, mind, and heart through a sequence of yoga classes designed to open those areas that are tight and relax the areas that are tense, get you thinking about your life, and open you up to anything that arises in you from your yoga practice. Morning yoga classes will wake you up and get you ready for the beautiful sunny day of excursions, or relaxing on the beach, or whatever else you decide to do that day. Evening moonlight classes will be used to help you reconnect with yourself and your senses at the end of the day. Liz's figureFIT! fitness classes will be offered to give people a really intense workout that will get your heart rate up, help you burn the extra calories you ate the night before.
